Experimental voice matching. Human presence and resistance to synthetic voices are not established.
The idea
Fewer bots and throwaway accounts is the goal. Recognizing returning voice profiles is the experiment.
For site owners
When a voice is recognized, its site identity and moderation history carry forward—even when the person hides their name. Matching can make mistakes; sites still need moderation.
For people
Use the same voice flow on your first visit and your next. Choose a name or stay a guest. Voice entry does not establish who wrote the messages you read.
Your voice is personal
Your recording goes to the verifier. An encrypted voice template lets it look for you next time.
A template is biometric data, not a password or a public recording. Profiles expire after 180 days; the active-ban exception is explained below. Playable audio is not saved by default. Your name is optional; hiding it keeps the same site identity.
This demo runs the verifier and chat together, under the same operator. With a separately hosted verifier, a participating site receives its own identifier and only names you choose to share. The verifier can still link your visits.
Yes. Profile settings appear after entry and require a fresh voice challenge. A forgotten browser handle can make those controls unavailable here. Deletion removes the normal recognition template, names and saved recording. Existing ban records can remain. If the operator enables ban-template retention, an encrypted template for an active ban can remain after deletion or expiry until the ban ends, solely for possible ban review. Voice similarity is not proof of identity.
No. A fresh phrase makes an old complete recording less useful, but synthetic voices have passed this experiment. Voice matching, spoof detection, and message moderation are different checks. See what has been tested.
